Wondering How I Work?

Answers to common questions about my process, services, and how I work.

1. What services do you offer?
icon

I help organizations clarify who they are and communicate it clearly. Most projects begin with brand identity or visual direction, and then extend into the materials needed to use the brand — websites, print, presentations, campaigns, and environmental graphics. Rather than offering isolated deliverables, I focus on building a system you can keep using after the project is finished.

2. Do you code?
icon

I’m a designer, not a software engineer. I design websites and digital experiences and can implement many sites using visual development platforms such as Framer or Webflow. I work in HTML/CSS when needed for layout or adjustments, but I don’t provide custom application programming or maintain complex back-end systems. For larger or fully custom builds, I collaborate with developers and provide detailed design specifications so the final product matches the intended experience. In short: I handle the design and structure — developers handle the engineering.

3. How do you price your projects?
icon

Most projects are priced as a flat fee based on scope rather than hourly billing. This keeps expectations clear and allows me to focus on solving the problem instead of tracking time. If a project expands beyond the agreed scope, or if you need small ongoing support (updates, production pieces, or refinements to an existing brand), I offer hourly or short-term engagement options. After an initial conversation, I’ll outline recommended approaches and provide a clear estimate before any work begins.

4. What is your typical project timeline?
icon

Timelines depend on scope, but most brand and design projects follow a clear, phased schedule. A focused identity or feature can take about 2–3 weeks, while a full brand system or larger engagement may run 4–8 weeks. I establish milestones at the start of each project and schedule regular check-ins so progress stays predictable and collaborative. Clear feedback and timely communication from both sides help keep work moving smoothly.

5. Do you use AI for your work?
icon

I may use AI to help me research a project, put together a brief, or retouch images. I never use AI for final asset creation.

6. Do you accept one-off design tasks or only full projects?
icon

I’m happy to help with both. I typically focus on larger engagements where I can understand the full context and create more cohesive results, but I also take on smaller production or support work when it’s a good fit. If you already have an established brand and just need specific deliverables, it may need to be on an hourly basis. If you’re starting something new or evolving a brand, I’ll usually recommend a broader project so the work stays consistent and effective.
